HD1020 is a compound of HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE. It is applied as a basic raw material of insulation for communication cables(CATV, RF,data, etc)druing extrusion using physical foaming with gas injection. Strict cleanliness conditions of production and material handing result in good electrical properties.
It does not contain a nucleating agent. A small amount(1.5-2.0%) of nucleating agent(HD101) masterbatch has to be added during the extrusion process.
It is suitable for constructions of cable diameter up to 22 mm. |

High foam degree and good electrical performances are its main characteristics. HD1080 is a new type of compounded physical foaming raw material. Its main applications are being used as insulation in coaxial cables, communication cables, core cables of mobile telecommunication base stations, computer networks wiress(CAT5, CAT5e), etc., during extrusion using physical foaming with gas injection.
HD1080 consists of all necessary compounds such as nucleating agent, activator, etc. So it can be directly fed into the extruder. The process and handling of the material is relatively simple, it offers good and stable electrical performances. |

Process temperature profiles for HD1020, HD1029 and HD1080 are listed only as an operation guideline. Adjustments shoudl be made during production according to technical parameters such as cable size, construction, extruder type, melting pressure. The latest is particula-rly affected by the selection of the sieve, the tolerance between core and coat of the mould,etc. |
